TES 465 and 530 Indices (over MOLA shaded relief)

These indices are designed to search TES spectra for a spectral "doublet" found in certain dioctahedral clay minerals. Used in tandem, locations on Mars where both indices are elevated may host smectite clays. Used separately, the 465 index serves as a proxy for TES surface type 2 and the 530 index is sensitive to an olivine spectral feature. A full description is given in Ruff and Christensen, 2007.
